We are actively looking for General Operative’s to join our clients growing operation based in Brigg. The idea candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks within our facility, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment and are eager to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
The working hours for the role are Monday – Thursday alternating shifts 05:00 am – 17:00 pm / 17:00 pm – 05:00 am.
Responsibilities
Assist in the daily operations of the facility, including production and assembly tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Operate machinery and equipment as required, following all safety protocols.
Support the movement of materials and products throughout the facility.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to operational tasks.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Physical stamina and capability to perform manual handling tasks as required.
